Theatre des Gros Becs

In partnership with Theatre Periscope, Quebec City's children's theatre presents a thrilling calendar of productions and events every year to entertain children and adults alike.

In conjunction with plays, there are also workshops on backstage production, direction and choreography for children, and concurrent presentations for adults. It is a perfect opportunity for kids to test and practice their French.

The theatre invites everyone to expose themselves to the works of authors and directors who will be able to enchant, astonish and move you. One thinks of renowned personalities like Jean- Frederic Messier, Gaudreault Jean- Rock'n'roll and Marthe Adams, Michel Garneau, Wajdi Mouawad and Benoît Vermeulen, Monique Gosselin and Louis- Domenica in this connection. They speak to you about life, courage, events and meetings which change the course of history.

Two marionettes and a dancer involve the public with them in a genuine caravan of images and movements, to the rate/rhythm of music evoking the desert.
