Colisee Pepsi Arena was built in 1949 and renovated in 1980. It is a multipurpose amphitheater which was originally designed for professional hockey. It is located at the crossroads of rue Soumande, boulevard Wilfred- Hamel and avenue du Colisée, only a few minutes from downtown Quebec City.
At the end of the 1970s, the Quebec Nordiques of the National Hockey League became its permanent tenants for over 15 years; they would be first- class ambassadors for Quebec's "Old Capital" all across North America.
This one of the best venues to host ice hockey. This event attracts the best talents. Spectators watch with baited breath as the game gets underway, to see which team scores the winning goal.
It is an ideal place for all major exhibits, as well as for shows. The standard amphitheatre can seat up to 15,000 spectators (and play host to 6,000 people when transformed into a special concert hall) and provide every technical service you need to ensure public safety and make your next event a resounding success.
