Festival of Sacred Music

Festival of Sacred Music began in 1997, founded by Mario Dufour and takes place in St. Roch church.

From Gospel music to Gregorian chants, from Corsican polyphony to old music, the Festival features music inspired by the world's spiritual traditions, both ancient and contemporary, performed by artists of international fame. Through their art, they give expression to sacred music's power to create a sense of both peace and exaltation. Powerful and moving, the music stirs your soul.

The Festival was inaugurated with 150 artists from the region and 2,500 spectators, and was the first of its kind in North America.
Today, the Festival holds a special place in the hearts of music lovers. More than 1,300 artists have performed before 35,000 dazzled spectators! It provides a unique opportunity to see and hear pieces being performed that we have rarely been exposed to live.

Through the Festival, music lovers have become acquainted with sacred works from around the world interpreted by artists of international standing.
