Quebec City International Half- Marathon is an international event which will be hosting its second edition in 2006.The number of participants for all events is limited to 1,500.
Starting at 10 AM, a brunch will be served to all participants. You can enjoy orange juice, coffee, fruits, bagels, yoghurt, pancakes (made on site) and maple syrup.
The course is a 9k loop that participants will cover twice for the half- marathon and three times for the 30K. The starting line is on Montmorency Boulevard, next to the Domaine Maizerets. Participants will then take d'Estimauville Avenue, Ste- Anne Boulevard, the bike path which runs along the Saint- Lawrence River, Henri- Bourassa Boulvard, Trinité Street, Vitré Avenue to Montmorency Boulevard.
The Champion Chip system will be used for all events. The Champion Chip system consists of an electronic timing device that is fixed to the participant's shoelaces and permits clocking the running time of each athlete.
For those who do not have their own timing chip, the Half- Marathon will provide them with one at the same time as they receive their bib number.
