Royal William Quebec Hotel

The hotel dates back to the 19th century. The name of the hotel is taken from Royal William, a steamship built in Quebec City for the "Quebec and Halifax Steam Navigation Company."

The hotel came into existence on April 29, 1831 and was owned by Samuel Cunard who was also the founder of the famous Cunard Line maritime shipping company. The inauguration was a major event for the denizens and a huge crowd gathered at the Quebec port.

The hotel has spacious rooms and suites equipped with state- of- the- art technology. All rooms are equipped with a work table and an ergonomic chair, high- speed Internet access and two individual telephone lines.

For social events, work sessions, workshops, seminars, etc, the hotel offers various highly personalized quality services. Catering, bar, coffee break and audiovisual services are available in all board rooms, on request.
