For a complete unforgettable dinning experience Aux Anciens Canadiens is the best place to be. This well- known restaurant is located in the beautiful Maison Jacquet, a 1675, building that was once home to novelist Philippe- Aubert de Gaspé. The restaurant's name is derived from his novel.

Their establishment, with a seating capacity of 115, is characterized by the authenticity of its decor: There are 5 beautiful dining rooms on two levels.

Since 1966, the Maison Jacquet has housed the restaurant Aux Anciens Canadiens, internationally known for its fine cuisine and warm hospitality.

The table d'hôte offers an entrée, soup, choice of main course, desert and coffee or tea starting at a very reasonable CAD27.50 and going up to CAD54 with a Seafood Platter main course. Traditional Canadian offerings include Duck Cutlet braised in maple syrup sauce (CAD23). The wine list includes a Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Village at CAD32 and, appropriately, a fine selection of Canadian vintages (1998 Inniskillin Pinot Noir, CAD50).

Hours: Noon- 9:30p daily.
Payment Methods: Master Card, Visa.
