Como Golf Club has celebrated their 100th Anniversary in 2001 making it the 11th oldest golf club still in existence in Quebec.
The course got its name from the Parish of Como, a borough of the town of Hudson some 20 minutes west of Montreal.
Environmentally sensitive areas have been established where play and even access is forbidden to help preserve nesting and wildlife habitat. There is a rich variety of birds and it is not uncommon to see deer on the course early in the morning or at dusk.
The mission of the club is to keep golf affordable, accessible and fun. The club has also made the game more accessible to juniors by organizing very successful clinics over the past few years under the Future Links program. Although more of a social golf club by choice, it has not produced any high profile golfers to date.
In Fall 2004, the drainage on the 2nd and 4th holes and 5th Tee was redone, to alleviate the wetness on the fairways caused during rainfalls and underground springs.
